Toronto isn’t just the home of Drake, the Raptors craze, and overpriced coffee that tastes like foam. This city is also a haven for skaters.

Whether you are a seasoned shredder or just a stoned spectator, this city has skateparks that cater to every vibe.

So, grab your board, roll one up, and let’s dive into the top five skateparks in Toronto that’ll take your skate sesh—and your high—to new heights.

1. Ashbridges Bay Skatepark

Ashbridges Bay Skatepark isn’t just a spot—it’s the spot. It is a vast 21,000 square foot of smooth concrete, ramps, bowls, and rails. It is located near the Beaches, and is perfect for an epic skate sesh followed by some chill time by the lake.

The park is a 21,000-square-foot paradise of smooth concrete, ramps, bowls, and rails and is Toronto’s largest skatepark. It’s a great place to zone out and watch experienced skaters do insane things.

So don’t worry if you’re a beginner – the whole atmosphere is very friendly, and it’s for all skill levels. Just don’t forget to hydrate – you’ll be thirstier skating while high than you would be after a whole bag of Doritos.

2. Wallace Emerson Skatepark

This skatepark is a low-key gem in the Wallace Emerson Community Centre, with street-inspired obstacles like ledges, stairs, and rails. It is a smaller park but its layout is such that it encourages creativity, perfect for trying out when you are in the zone. The best part? There are usually fewer people than at other parks, so you won’t get judged for looking like your kickflip attempt became an unintentional interpretive dance. Furthermore, the greenery around it makes it a cool place to stop for a moment and enjoy Toronto’s city and nature vibe.

3. Vanderhoof Skatepark

Vanderhoof Skatepark is East York’s pride and joy, it is a small but functional skate park for skaters to show off their skills. With features like quarter pipes, ramps, and rails, it has all you need for a smooth afternoon of shredding.

If you’re riding high, the park’s location within a quiet neighborhood makes it a relaxed spot to skate without any interruptions. The only plus is the nearby coffee shops where you can get some coffee to drink after the session or to crack that munchie craving.

4. Dunbat Skatepark (Dufferin Grove)

Dunbat Skatepark is real. It’s gritty, unpolished, and an actual OG spot for Toronto skaters. With an old-school charm and all the obstacles built with a DIY style, it’s the type of park where legends are born, and the vibe is always chill. If you're into 6ixBuzz type of moments, this is where you will find some crazy sh*t happening. Just pay attention when you are there, these skaters do not joke and will not mind pulling a move over your head at top speed.

5. CJ’s Skatepark

When it’s not like this (because Toronto, duh), CJ’s Skatepark is where you should head indoors, this non-profit skatepark is Canada’s largest indoor facility and is just outside the city in Etobicoke, and has ramps, rails, foam pits, and even a vert ramp. The best part? It’s year-round, so we can skate rain or shine. CJ’s is a must-visit for anyone who just wants to hit the foam pit for a soft landing or just cruise the ramps without having to brave Toronto’s unpredictable elements.

Skate parks in Toronto are not just places to skate, they are cultural centers, where creativity, community, and sometimes a little cannabis-fueled imagination collide. The city’s skate parks are for everyone, whether you're pulling off tricks at Ashbridges or vibing with the grunge scene at Dunbat.
